Our Planning Process
We coordinate all aspects of your financial planning process. In the areas where we are not experienced, Carr Financial works with a network of professionals who are professionals in their field.
We can refer you to advisers in the following areas that can assist you:
- Attorneys (wills, trust, elder care) (landlord-tenant, property issues) (divorce and mediation)
- CPA's and other tax professionals
- Mortgage Services
- Property & Casualty Insurance Agents
- Scholarship contacts for athletic students who plan to attend college
- Planned giving and Charitable Giving contacts
- Professional family counselors
- Budget counselors
The first step we take is to get to know our clients. We gather financial information but we also need non-financial information.
Only when we feel we have learned enough about a person can we begin providing advice.
At the beginning of our work together we establish a mutually agreed upon Investment Policy Statement. It should be viewed as the business plan for managing an investment portfolio.
The Monitoring Step is where we spend a large part of our time. It is our duty as Investment Advisers to monitor the performance of the money manager or mutual funds that were selected.
