Our Planning Process We coordinate all aspects of your financial planning process. In the areas where we are not experienced, Carr Financial works with a network of professionals who are professionals in their field. We can refer you to advisers in the following areas that can assist you:Attorneys (wills, trust, elder care) (landlord-tenant, property issues) (divorce and mediation)CPA's and other tax professionalsMortgage ServicesProperty & Casualty Insurance AgentsScholarship contacts for athletic students who plan to attend collegePlanned giving and Charitable Giving contactsProfessional family counselorsBudget counselors The first step we take is to get to know our clients. We gather financial information but we also need non-financial information. Only when we feel we have learned enough about a person can we begin providing advice. At the beginning of our work together we establish a mutually agreed upon Investment Policy Statement. It should be viewed as the business plan for managing an investment portfolio. The Monitoring Step is where we spend a large part of our time. It is our duty as Investment Advisers to monitor the performance of the money manager or mutual funds that were selected.
